About A.A.R.F.

Linda Randall (Michigan) has been doing animal rescue since 1994.  She has 5 dogs of her own, plus one cat.  Jennifer Mars Farley (New York) just recently started animal rescue in 2007.  She has 6 dogs and 2 cats.  Linda and Jennifer met while each were working with other rescue groups.  After a few weeks of discussion, they realized that they were two peas in a pod, having the same beliefs on how things should be handled and how everything in rescue should be "All About the Animals", avoiding egos, personality conflicts and tension.  They branched off from their respective groups to start a new non-profit organization - focusing solely on the animals.  Since that time (August 2007), they worked together with partner organizations and volunteers to rescue over 385 animals, and have placed over 340 of these animals in forever homes (August 2008).  A.A.R.F. currently maintains the Feline Habitat at the PETCO store in Cookeville, TN, and all other animals are fostered in homes throughout Putnam, Overton and Cumberland counties.
